I can't really address the Columbus situation since I don't live there. However, since it is a heavily military town, I would imagine that a great deal of interracial dating goes on. That tends to happen in communities around military bases, in my experience. But someone who actually lives there could give

you a much better viewpoint ont that.

As for Atlanta, I think you could go just about anywhere and find young, attractive ladies of any race. I've lived here most of my life and maybe my view is skewed, but I've always felt there were more single women in Atlanta than men. So the odds are definitely in your favor!

A former co-worker and good girlfriend of mine who happens to be white has been in a long-term relationship with an African-American guy for some years. They're incredibly happy and just bought a house out in Lilburn. I think they met at a club in Midtown but I honestly can't remember.

As for specific places, I don't know what to tell you since I got married two years ago and even before then, I was pretty shy and didn't go out to clubs/bars much. I can tell you that a lot of single ladies volunteer for groups like Hands on Atlanta and Habitat for Humanity. I'm sure Habitat has a chapter in Columbus. I did work with HOA and there were almost always more women (often single!) than men. Give that a try.
