| I'm single and AA too. I do see some interracial couples when I'm out and about. But, as the poster above mentioned, the Dallas black/white populace is not that integrated, hence the reason you're not seeing a lot of interracial dating for a city this size. But, if you're into the party scene, try some of the nightlife options at Legacy Plano. That's where I've seen more of a diverse mix of singles. |

That's my concern. I'm not a party/bar going kind of person. But I'll keep open. I joined a few meet ups to work out and meet people to do stuff with,etc. |

| I personally know more than a dozen interracial couples in Plano. One of my friend is Lebanese Jew and she is married to an Indian Moslim, another one is an ultra liberal Viking atheist and married to a quite conservative Brazilian Catholic. Nobody really cares about it in Plano. I can't say much about interracial dating scene for adults, as I crossed that bridge 3 decades ago but it's very common in local schools and colleges. Plano is very diverse. |

I should clarify that I seldom see black women with any other race here at all. Even seldom black men with any other race like whites. I see a few white guys looking but they don't approach, don't say anything, just look. Plano does seem very family focused, that's true and it makes sense from all that I've heard. But I'll be in Dallas here and there for the meet up groups I joined so maybe I'll see more mixing and mingling while there. |
