TAIMI Partners With Gay Times to Promote Equality
TAIMI, the social network and dating app for the entire LGBTQ community, has announced a new partnership with well-known media brand Gay Times.
While the specific details of the collaboration haven’t been released, it’s understood that the two companies will produce content “to promote the message of love and equality”.
In October, the app revealed it was moving away from just being a dating app for gay men and evolving into social media platform for everyone who identifies as LGBTQ. It is now working to make sure that people all over the world have equal rights, no matter their sexuality or gender.
With the help of Gay Times, TAIMI is reportedly organising several multimedia campaigns to help make global change. Other partnerships and volunteer projects also appear to be in the works.
It has previously teamed up with a number of international LGBTQ activists and influencers, such as drag queen Jennifer Hopelezz in The Netherlands and television personality Sisco Gomez in Latin America as part of its mission.
Alex Pasykov, the founder of popular startup Hily, first created TAIMI at the end of 2017 as he believed there was a gap in the market for a gay dating app that focused on relationships instead of hookups.
Last week, it added Spotify integration to allow users to show off more of their personality through their favourite songs.
Gay Times helped Badoo run a fundraising initiative in July to teach heterosexual people how to be supportive LGBTQ allies.
