Less than 24 hours after losing her baby, Chrissy is being bashed on social media for sharing her grief so publicly. Fans spoke their minds on both Instagram and Twitter, as she is currently one of the top trending stories on Twitter and her Instagram post received 8.5 million likes and counting. While there were plenty of kind words written to Chrissy, John and their family, there were also some not so nice messages. Many people felt as though Chrissy deserved this. One comment on her Instagram post read, "God's revenge." While another follower wrote, "That’s karma for you." Others criticized her for posting photos from inside the hospital, "I feel those pictures are super personal and should have kept private." Others agreed saying, "And yet you haven’t put your phone down since it 'happened.'" One Twitter user asked Chrissy, "Why post such personal information on this or any other public platform?" Some even called her out for not having "boundaries," urging this information should only be shared with close friends and family.
While she did receive some negative feedback from her honesty, the positive messages poured in for the family during this grieving time. Many celebrities reached out to the couple, keeping them in their thoughts and prayers. The Kardashian family, Sophia Bush, Channing Tatum, Snooki and Hilary Duff were just some of the many. The fan tweeted, "Because miscarriage and women's health isn't a taboo subject." Others offered the grieving mother advice from personal experiences. Read through the comments on her emotional post below:
View this post on InstagramWe are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough. . . We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever. . . To our Jack - I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you. . . Thank you to everyone who has been sending us positive energy, thoughts and prayers. We feel all of your love and truly appreciate you. . . We are so grateful for the life we have, for our wonderful babies Luna and Miles, for all the amazing things we’ve been able to experience. But everyday can’t be full of sunshine. On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out. But we will hug and love each other harder and get through it.

From the looks of it, Chrissy had been sharing this personal information on her platform in an effort to show the side of pregnancy that most people don't speak about. However, when having a following as large as Chrissy does, not everyone is going to agree with what she says or shares. The important thing is, the positive messages out shined the negative ones. This might be a good time for Chrissy to take a step back from social media in order to focus on herself and her family's healing. Wishing all the best to Chrissy Teigen, John Legend and their families as they grieve during this time.
