"Nothing can be worse than this," she says. "I’ve tried to see the funny side though I was fuming at the time. He has since apologised and said that he was having a bad day, but that doesn’t excuse anything. Why should his bad day result in insulting me? We won’t be seeing each other again!

"The truth is I’m happy with the way my life is. My son is an angel and we’re a team. I don’t need a man, I would like one but that’s different. I only want to see someone who loves me for me and if they’re going to get angry because I’ve got an extra roll around my stomach then they’re not the man for me."
