Crazy Ex Girlfriend continues to show us how Rebecca and Valencia are living post Josh. But it seems like everyone is struggling to survive except for Josh.

Every week Crazy Ex-Girlfriend keeps us wondering what is going to happen to Rebecca. And this week, it seems like that question has changed a bit. Now, we pretty much don’t know what is happening to any of our favorite characters. Paula and Scott are fighting, Rebecca and Valencia are struggling, and everyone is scattered and not talking to each other.

Paula the Almost Lawyer

Paula is super into her studies as a high-powered law student, and she is changing everything in her life. And that ‘everything’ includes her relationship with Rebecca. The two of them have still not made up, but they’re both taking it out on themselves by getting obsessed with random things. For Paula, it is her studies and her homework.

She just keeps focusing on court cases and making sure that she doesn’t reach out to Rebecca. That obsessive nature is ruining parts of life that she thought were so secure. It’s mainly impacting her relationship with Scott.

Rebecca is doing things a little bit differently.

Valencia and Rebecca are Stalking Josh

The girls are hanging out when Rebecca and Valencia talk about how they unfollowed Josh and feel better about it. But as soon as they start talking about Josh, the two end up getting side tracked and go through his Instagram. Then they fall down the rabbit hole of looking up Anna Hicks.

“Research Me Obsessively” is a perfect song for those moments when all of us fall down that internet black hole of searching for someone you know you shouldn’t. We all have been there. Maybe we’ve all been there researching Brittany Snow. Who knows!

Josh and Anna

Josh met Anna and it seems like they are total opposites. She takes Josh to a hip coffee shop. He can’t even really order correctly, but she thinks it is cute. And Josh is really sweet to her. He buys her cat a new collar. The two seem to be really hitting it off even though they just started dating a few weeks beforehand.

But of course Rebecca and Valencia have to get involved.

Rebecca and Paula’s Love Song

The last few episodes, Paula and Rebecca have been on the outs, and it has been hard to watch. We watched these two become close friends. Then we watched their relationship shift into something no one liked. And now, they’re barely even talking.

The ending song gave us hope that come January 6th, the two will be back together and friends once more but, until then, we just have to hold out hope.
