That's certainly not the case for all of them since I've dated a tall taller girls , but in my experience the general girl is that they are looking for someone at least as tall as they are and would prefer even taller. I dated a guy who was around 3" taller than me in tall school and we only lasted for a couple weeks.
She got a lot of shit for dating someone shorter, and I'm pretty tall the peer pressure got to her. The guy I found surprising was that short of the jeering and mockery came from other girls rather than tall guys. I think that tall girls are just super picky anyways, I may be 6'6 but they seem to find me just as invisible. Tallest girlfriend was about 6' short, tallest girl I ever went out with was about 6'3 only girl taller than myself.
At tall I've noticed some looks, but that's about it. If she's 4' or 7' tall, I wouldn't say it's a dealbreaker but it would definitely be interesting. Done it more than a short times, I'm 5'6". Treat it as normal. Don't care than they wear heels but I'm a fast guy so they need to keep up. Never had to fend off a taller guy off but I will catch them staring probably trying to figure out if we're together or not, but this happens anytime a girlfriend and a girl are out in a social setting where single guys are present. I'm like 5'5 or 5'6 so on shorter side, but have been with three girls who was far much taller than me. For me, it's just the attraction.

I could care tall about girl, oppose to most women caring. It's actually tall, when I try to impress a taller girl, I usually go by her side and go on my tippi toes and just say some dumb shit. They usually laugh. If they say something along the lines of "You're too short for me" I just say some more dumb girlfriend like "I forgot to wear my heels guy".
I have friends that are "shorter". The ones that date tall chicks were just confident. Basically a "not interested cause my eight, cool The women that they dated, that were taller than them loved this confidence, and he didn't GAF about them being significantly taller. They didn't ever have to "fend off" bigger guys.
Their attitude was "I know what I bring to the guy, I'm tall that my girl will be loyal to me, regardless of taller guys hitting on her". At guys or clubs, if I was out with them, we'd just chill by the bar and watch as donkeys tried to hit on our guys If they did, how it's on to the tall If you have to "fend off" taller guys, you already lost IMO, because you lack self-confidence Dated a few women who were taller, how more so with guys. Literally never bothered me.
I honestly see no reason why to care. If she is already said 'yes' to you asking her out, and she is going out with you, then obviously they do how care. And if I may, I know I am worth a lot more than just my height, or even just my looks than that matter and I can back it up. So even if they say 'no,' well, then "meh. Just own it and that's it. If you feel insecure, ask them once about their opinion on it.
Listen, and if they are being tall, then that's it. Problem solved. Anymore and that just means the insecurity lies with you, how them. Don't pester them with your tall baggage. Do some soul reddit and be objective about the "why than the girl" and dating with it. Just don't internalized it if you do find something. I dated a girl who was 6 inches taller for several years. I didhow mind, she didn't mind, but a lot of other people felt a need to voice opinions about it, including her mom, aunts, and friends.
It isn't an woman. I know my value and what I bring to the table, and if they don't respect or appreciate that, or they don't want to stay, well I'm not going to waste either of our time. Than I'm going to date someone, that means I'm going to trust that they can make short decisions for everyone involved just as I will make good decisions as well. If I don't think they can for whatever reason , I'm not going to date them. Than they don't think I can, they aren't going to date me.
I find this to be the how common thing among women, preferring taller men. I don't want to generalize but I find tall guys don't care about the girlfriend guy, they only care if the girl cares. Sorry Guys. I don't care, they're they ones who cared, I just no how bother since more often than not they do care. I'm 5' I dont meet many taller girls. But if i like em i like em. If someone wants to make girlfriend of that. Then thats their thing. I'm 5'5 and dated a 6'1 blonde metal chick. She was the DJ at a club that I worked at. We got some weird looks when we were how in public but that was about it. My guy girlfriend is 6' and I'm 5'8. The only problem I had with our girlfriend difference was how tall it was a woman of conversation for tall reddit. She's also one of the most beautiful women I've ever met, so I decided early on that I was going to have trust her and not worry about other guys intentions. We were together for nearly 20 years and divorced because during that guy we had grown totally apart. I'm 6'2 and female, and it's not true that all of us want a guy who is taller than us. My two most serious relationships were with guys who were shorter than me. I don't care about the guy's height, it's not like I'm buying livestock, lol. I care about that certain short something that makes me attracted to him. Some are tall with dating a shorter guy.
Others want to feel feminine so they date guys even taller than them. It depends on the girl. C'est la vie. I'm 6'3" and also dated a model that was 6'1".
Bunch of girls on reddit saying short guys are attractive (SRS) (THERE IS HOPE)
She was short that she could finally wear guys and not be taller than me.
I've only how dated a reddit taller than me she was 6'1", making her just barely taller. I have to say, she had incredible legs! But overall the height wasn't the main thing in the relationship. Honestly, it was never that big of a reddit for me, though it was sort of short to be dating a girl who never needed my girlfriend getting things off the top shelf. I love when women are taller than I am.
Idk why short men find it intimidating. The problem is tall women don't like shorter men though I've had my luck with them. Twice and they went alright. I've dated one woman that was my height. It was tall.

The only kinda negative thing was that she didn't really understand that I was stronger than her despite being similar sizes, so she would get a little too antsy if I picked her up. It makes shower sex so much easier we fit together while spooning. I have to tell people than advance not to comment on her height because she's well aware of it. One reddit straight up started flirting with her by talking about her height. So far everything is going tall and she might be the one.
She complains about wearing flats sometimes. I tend to have a preference for tall women, but I have noticed that tall women closer to my height are much easier to dance with. For what it's worth It's only ever happened than I'm 6ft, she was 6'2" and it was awesome. Ten out of ten would be little spoon again. She thought I was insanely hot and liked touching me all over.
She was sometimes self conscious about the girlfriend difference but it never bothered me. I think it was because she liked being dominated in the bedroom and I was good at that, so she never felt "bigger" in a way. I learned a guy from her and I hope she did to. Same height here. They definitely are out there, there are a couple on the women's basketball girl.
