Meet & Right allows you to review a handful of profiles each day based on your settings. The goal is to have a thoughtful and meaningful experience as you are reviewing profiles - so take your time and make it count, and check back each day for more profiles! Once you match with someone, you'll be able to message each other within the app.

Fatal flaw

The fatal flaw of this app is not knowing when someone likes your profile after you’ve liked theirs. So essentially, if you want to start the conversation, you have to be the second person to match, otherwise, the first person will never know. So theoretically, you can match with 20 profiles, but only know about 1 or 2, possible 0 of them. I think if that gets addressed, then this app would take off. As it stands now, you need to basically check the app once a week to ensure you aren’t “liking” someone first, if you wish to start the conversation.

Also, the user pool is pretty shallow. That’s not the app’s fault though, it’s just a niche app that will have its natural limitations. There just aren’t that many single Copts willing to put themselves in this type of situation. You will need to be open to long distance relationships if you want this app to work for you.

Other than that, I’ve met a couple of interesting people. Hopefully they address some of the shortcomings.

Good Idea, Bad Execution

Been using the app for a few months now. Previous experience was not bad, but had some issues that I could live with.

The most recent update has ruined the experience. Certain free features are now locked behind a paywall. By itself this is not horrible, but when those no-longer-free features do not work as advertised, this is a big problem.

Specifically the “Previously Reviewed” feature simply does not work. It states that it will show previous profiles when there are no new profiles to see. However for the past week or so, I went from viewing 7 or 8 profiles a day to 1 a day, if I’m lucky. It’s now at the point where I would need to either view all ages (completely unreasonable) or include international profiles in my search.

I have sent a message to the support team and received no response. I understand this is a small app for a small user base, but unless the support team is receiving a deluge of complaints, it seems a bit negligent to ignore a paying customer.

The subscription packages are too expensive for this type of feature to not work properly. On principle I would demand a refund. Given the various issues the app already has, a problem like this is just not acceptable.
