Clippers guard Lou Williams on NBA players having two girlfriends: ‘More players do that than you know’
NBA stars may not just be players on the court.
Williams became known for this after Drake mentioned his relationship status with two women in the song "6 Man."
"I hear about it every day," Williams said. "Every single day. More players do that than you know. I was just the first person to have it mentioned on a song."
In the song, the Canadian rapper confirmed the guard was dating two women at the same time and they were both cool with it.
"Boomin' out in South Gwinnett like Lou Will, 6 man like Lou Will, 2 girls and they get along like I'm Lou Will, I just got the new deal," Drake raps on "6 Man."
The 31-year-old has since broken things off with girlfriend Ashley Henderson, but is still dating Rece Mitchell. Williams said he still remains friends with Henderson.
At the time of the Drake song, Williams was the sixth man on the rapper's beloved Toronto Raptors. Williams went on to win the Sixth Man of the Year Award that season.
Williams would leave Toronto the following season when he signed with the Lakers as a free agent. He'd then be traded to the Rockets in February 2017 before being moved to the Clippers in the deal of Chris Paul.
